How it works
· When Todd Hunter Consulting engages with you, the first step is to assess the network, perform improvements and create network usage policies. It takes all necessary steps to create standardization for ease of use and administration. We want to make the network easy to use for you and easy to manage for us. · We then install management software which constantly performs checks on the Servers, Network, Firewalls and Desktops and alerts the engineers at our Network Operations Center who in turn proactively take appropriate steps to prevent the potential issue from becoming a real problem. · The engineers at the Network Operations Center perform preventive maintenance tasks such as deploying anti-virus updates, patches, removal of spyware, "cleaning" of machines, tuning of servers, updating firewall rules and much more to keep the client's network running optimally. · When an end user encounters a problem, he or she can call and one of our staff assists the user or when necessary, with permission of the user, the engineer takes remote control of the machine and resolves the problem directly. We will usually be able to resolve the issue there and then using our remote support systems. · Should the issue be such that it cannot be resolved remotely (as is the case with failure of hardware), Todd Hunter Consulting dispatches a technician to your site. · Data collected by the management node is analyzed and converted into meaningful reports which are available online for you to see. Todd Hunter Consulting reviews the reports with you to identify incorrect usage or potential security problems and to make improvements to the network. |

Flat Rate IT Support Todd Hunter Consulting’s Total Support system gives you unlimited support for all your users and systems. Our unique and powerful suite of management systems means that we can deliver virtually instant support to your staff through a range of support services delivered from our national Network Operations Centre (NOC). Under the Total Support System, all your network support is covered under the one flat monthly fee.
Phone Support Todd Hunter Consulting support staff are available to your users to call for support under our Total Support System. If they are able to assist your users over the phone, they are only too happy to do so. If however, the issue is a little more difficult, it is likely that our support staff will employ other means.
Remote Desktop Sharing Our remote desktop sharing system allows us to connect to your users computers and share control of the pc with them. This is very useful in demonstrating issues to our support staff. When support staff start sharing the system with the user, the user is prompted that their system is being monitored by our staff. Control of the system can be shared by both the user and the support technician. This means that our staff are not required to travel to your site to view or even resolve your issue. They can usually fix it there and then.
Background Management One key feature of our Total Support System is that in order to perform maintenance functions and monitoring of your computer systems, we do NOT have to be in front of them or even remotely controlling them. Many functions we can perform “in the background” and thus not disturb your staff’s work.
On-Site Support In the event that physical, hands-on support is required to resolve issues, this too is covered under the Total Support System. Our staff will come to your place of business and attempt to resolve the issue or pick up the equipment for delivery to our lab for further analysis and troubleshooting.
Guaranteed Response Time As a Total Support System Client, we guarantee our response times to all issues. We guarantee that we will be working on the issue within the appropriate time frame and if the issue cannot be resolved, it will be escalated to a more senior technician.
If the senior technician is not able to resolve the issue it will be escalated to the hardware manufacturer or software vendor to enlist their support in resolving the issue.

Now if you have a problem of a technical nature in ANY of these areas, you contact US! We then liaise with the appropriate company or companies and work with them to resolve your issue.
What does the Total Support System Cost? The Total Support System pricing is dependant on the number of computers, servers and sites in your organisation. Todd Hunter Consulting will be happy to provide a quotation for you.
The Total Support System is a monthly fee that requires payment in advance. This is done through a monthly direct debit from your account via EzyPay Direct Debit Services.
Initial installation, configuration and software licenses for the management system are not included in the monthly price. These establishment costs will also be outlined as part of the quotation.
The quotation covers the support of ALL you servers, computers, printers, peripheral devices, network infrastructure devices and mobile devices.
What if I don’t think I will get value from the Total Support System While we have done a lot of work to price our Total Support System competitively and our clients that have used the Total Support System are seeing the benefits of it, we do understand that there are some businesses that would rather pay by the hour for support.
Our “Monitored Support System” gives you all the benefits of the “Total Support System” when it comes to the monitoring and accessibility of our support staff to your network.
By Paying a minimal monthly fee per pc and the prepayment of a block of hours, we can then provide your business with same support our Total Support System clients receive. When issues arise, you simply pay for the time spent by our staff to resolve those issues from your credited hours with us.
